Systems engineer at Cloudflare, building AI Crawl Control on the edge. Background in backend systems, security automation, and data pipelines.

Currently Systems Engineer at Cloudflare on the AI Crawl Control team helping customers monitor and control how AI crawlers interact with their sites at global edge scale.

What I work on

At Cloudflare, focused on crawl control and edge scale systems. Before that, three years at Coalition turning security data into reliable production backends, APIs, and pipelines.

01

Backend & APIs

REST services and multi worker architectures that move high volume data between internal systems and partners with a focus on throughput, latency, and uptime above 99.9%.

02

Security data pipelines

Large scale scrapers and ingestion jobs that collect threat telemetry automatically, backed by Kafka, Prefect, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch on AWS.

03

Security tooling & RE

Firmware reverse engineering, vulnerability fingerprinting, and incident response building tools that turn raw signals into actionable security insight.

Selected work

Fortinet firmware fingerprinting

Coalition Inc

Reverse engineered Fortinet firmware to extract version indicators, then built a fingerprinting tool that maps fleet firmware to CVEs at scale supporting product capabilities tied to $40M+ in annual revenue.

Multi worker ingestion optimisation

Coalition Inc

Restructured worker pools and queueing for security data pipelines, increasing throughput by ~40% and cutting processing latency.
